ITS Build Lead - Insurance Smart Apps

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate distributed engineering teams across multiple Smart Apps workstreams.
• Drive delivery execution against release commitments, milestones, and business priorities.
• Align product roadmaps, technical architecture, and development activities with Product and Architecture leaders.
• Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and resource needs, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage escalations and coordinate timely resolution of delivery, quality, and business-impacting issues.
• Support workforce transformation, organizational integration, continuous improvement, and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering or technology delivery teams in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience managing distributed teams and multiple concurrent technology workstreams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, technology delivery, and release management.
• Strong stakeholder communication, escalation management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate product and business priorities into executable delivery plans and influence cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, insurance, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with workforce transformation, organizational integration, or large-scale technology change initiatives.
• Experience leading strategic technology portfolios or enterprise application programs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software engineering practices.
