Product Delivery Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $61,500–$136,100 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Partner on complex cross-enterprise implementations of new products and product enhancements.
• Take implementations from business case analysis through delivery using the system delivery lifecycle.
• Build understanding of business scope and member impact, decompose business cases, and develop implementation plans.
• Lead requirements gathering, cost and resource estimates, deliverables, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues while managing time-sensitive priorities.
• Monitor compliance with industry and HCSC standards and improve processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in business analysis, system implementation, or project management, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience working across departments and management levels, handling sensitive situations, and delivering formal training.
• Experience identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, working independently and collaboratively, and adapting to changing priorities.
• Ability to apply business knowledge to solve problems, ask effective questions, drive results, and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Degree in engineering, mathematics, philosophy, IT systems, public health, health policy, or another critical-thinking-focused discipline.
• Consulting or client/product implementation experience in a large organization.
• Financial, estimating, and budget management experience.
• Conflict management and resolution skills.
• Knowledge of the SDLC and healthcare insurance products, networks, legislation, and government affairs.
