Financial Officer (Agricultural Finance)

Location: Emmetsburg, Iowa, United States; daytime travel required 5–10%.

Salary: $70,500–$128,820 annually, with a 10%–25% incentive opportunity.

What you will do

• Market and promote lending and other core financial products to an assigned producer customer segment.
• Analyze customer financial positions and operational plans to develop practical product and service packages.
• Price loans based on risk and profitability while servicing assigned portfolios.
• Develop business plans, increase market share, and cross-sell financial products and services.
• Engage with new-credit inquiries from phone and walk-in customers.
• Collaborate with Analysts on credit packages and consensus decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, Accounting, Finance, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, or a closely related field.
• Required experience in lending, credit analysis, sales, related financial services, or agricultural credit.
• Credit analysis, influence, negotiation, coaching, and customer counseling skills.
• Knowledge of multiple agricultural industries and the ability to support customers with financial decisions.
