Financial Officer (Agricultural Finance)

Location: Hybrid, based out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with up to 50% work from home

Salary: $67,700–$102,200 USD per year, plus variable compensation and benefits

What you will do

• Manage and grow agricultural loan and lease portfolios while servicing existing clients.
• Meet with clients on farms and in offices to understand financial needs and recommend loans, leases, crop insurance, and life insurance products.
• Analyze client financial information, farm operations, financial positions, reports, ratios, and benchmarks.
• Process commercial and real estate loan applications, renewals, and servicing requests.
• Develop new loan business through prospecting, networking, client relationship building, and meetings with prospective clients.
• Participate in agricultural meetings, trade shows, farm tours, training, and professional events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in agribusiness, farming, agricultural credit, or a closely related field.
• Current state insurance license to sell crop insurance and a valid driver’s license.
• Advanced knowledge of loan products, credit operations, farm production, farm business management, and financial concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, communication, client service, networking, and computer skills, including MS Office and CRM systems.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
