Senior Counsel, Corporate and Commercial (Quantum Computing)

Location: Fully remote; candidates must be located in the United Kingdom or Ireland

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex customer, procurement, professional services, software, technology, collaboration, research, and confidentiality agreements.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
• Analyze complex legal issues, assess risk, and deliver actionable guidance with minimal supervision.
• Partner with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Research and Development, Security, and Operations on commercial initiatives and transactions.
• Support contract lifecycle management, negotiation strategy, risk assessment, and agreement execution.
• Manage external legal counsel relationships and provide general legal support for EMEA matters.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in England and Wales or Ireland.
• At least 6 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, with significant corporate and commercial experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
• Strong understanding of commercial law and ability to provide practical legal advice in a technology-driven environment.
• Ability to independently manage complex matters, prioritize competing demands, and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
