CRISPR Screening Scientist

hirify.global’s Cancer Dependency Map uses CRISPR-based functional genomics and high-throughput screening to identify cancer vulnerabilities and therapeutic targets.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations of large-scale CRISPR screens and other high-throughput screening workflows.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for experimental execution, data acquisition, and quality control.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and multiple concurrent screening projects.
• Supervise and mentor a team of at least two research associates.
• Maintain LIMS records and ensure screening data is ready for downstream analysis.
• Improve pipeline efficiency, reproducibility, scalability, and turnaround time.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent experience in cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience running large-scale CRISPR screens or other high-throughput screening methods.
• Experience in a production-oriented laboratory, core facility, screening center, or similar high-throughput environment.
• Previous experience managing laboratory personnel.
• Proficiency with LIMS, electronic laboratory notebooks, and project management software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work across scientific, operational, and data teams.
