Senior Scientist - Targeted Protein Degradation

What you will do

• Design and execute workflows to validate molecular glue screening hits, characterize mechanisms, and investigate target biology.
• Evaluate molecular glue hits in disease-relevant models to identify novel targets and therapeutic opportunities.
• Collaborate with chemistry, proteomics, and induced proximity teams to build and screen E3 ligase-focused molecular glue libraries.
• Develop cell-based and biochemical assays for E3 ligase biology, target engagement, and molecular glue activity.
• Communicate research findings across teams and sites, and present results at conferences and in publications.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with relevant postdoctoral experience, or a master’s degree with 4 years of relevant scientific experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant scientific experience.
• Expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, chemical biology, cell biology, assay development, and target discovery.
• Experience with disease-relevant models, mechanism-of-action studies, and complex data analysis.
• Experience with high-throughput screening, assay automation, stable cell lines, CRISPR technologies, and mass spectrometry sample preparation.
• Experience with cell-based imaging to study target biology, protein localization, and cellular responses.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills in a matrixed research environment.
