Regional Perishable Operations Manager

Location: Not remote; must be within commutable distance of clubs in the upstate New York/Ohio market.

Salary: $117,500–$157,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee execution and operational excellence across a network of clubs, including merchandising programs, marketing campaigns, product flows, displays, ordering, quality, and production.
• Drive regional perishable sales and profitability plans through sales, merchandising, and operational analysis.
• Identify execution gaps, develop improvement strategies, and ensure consistent standards across clubs.
• Develop Club Manager, Fresh Manager, and Meat Manager capabilities while supporting member service and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with perishables leadership, club operations, distribution center operations, merchandising, and support teams.
• Support training programs, succession planning, and new club openings, including knowledge transfer for perishable operations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools and technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in BJ’s IS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work within commuting distance of clubs in the upstate New York/Ohio market.

• Previous experience in perishable goods merchandising and operations.
