Senior Project Manager, Implementation (U.S.A. Remote)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; ability to travel Monday–Friday, 80% nationally.

Annual salary: $120,000–$127,000, plus eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the full implementation lifecycle for mid-to-large-scale, multidisciplinary installations in clinical laboratory environments.
• Develop and execute instrumentation project plans covering customer readiness, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful implementations.
• Assess laboratory infrastructure and readiness requirements and recommend instrumentation, data management, and automation solutions.
• Oversee equipment procurement and installation in accordance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree and 5+ years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated project management experience with examples and artifacts such as communication plans, project plans, and risk plans.
• Advanced understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare industry, with strong knowledge of the laboratory regulatory environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software such as Smartsheet.
• Experience reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.

Nice to have

• Construction and IT project management experience.
• PMP certification.
• Medical technology background and related work experience.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory practices, including quality control, record keeping, and CAP, CLIA, and COLA regulatory requirements.
