Senior Project Manager, Implementation (U.S.A. Remote)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; based in the US, with the ability to travel nationally Monday–Friday up to 80%.

Annual salary: $120,000–$127,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the full implementation lifecycle for mid-to-large-scale, multi-discipline clinical laboratory installations.
• Develop and execute instrumentation project plans covering customer readiness, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, vendors, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assess laboratory infrastructure and readiness requirements to recommend instrumentation, data management, and automation solutions.
• Oversee equipment procurement and installation in line with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and producing communication plans, project plans, risk plans, and other project artifacts.
• Advanced understanding of diagnostics or healthcare, particularly the laboratory regulatory environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software such as Smartsheet.
• Experience reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel nationally up to 80%.

Nice to have

• Construction or IT project management experience.
• PMP certification.
• Medical technology background or relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory practices, quality control, record keeping, and CAP, CLIA, or COLA requirements.
