Lab Technician I (Analytical Chemistry)

Location: Scarborough, Maine, USA; onsite laboratory role

Salary: USD 20–22 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare samples for analysis according to analytical SOPs using basic department-specific instrumentation.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate preparation instruments and equipment.
• Support validation and method detection limit studies when required.
• Enter and maintain technical information and laboratory notebooks.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet production, hold-time, and turnaround-time targets.
• Follow laboratory safety practices, internal standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant analytical chemistry laboratory experience preferred.
• English required.
• Basic mathematics, reasoning, and computer skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
