Analyst II, Chemistry Laboratory (Wet Chemistry)

Location: Lincolnshire, Illinois, USA; onsite laboratory role

Salary: $28.00–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct routine and moderately complex chemical and physical analyses of organic and inorganic samples for consumer product testing.
• Prepare, extract, digest, and analyze samples using official methods, laboratory SOPs, protocols, and instrumentation.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Develop and validate analytical methods, SOPs, and technical, safety, and quality documentation.
• Prepare and maintain reports, laboratory notebooks, calibration and validation records, and technical information.
• Provide data-analysis guidance and technical support to analysts, clients, sales, marketing, and customer service teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience with wet chemistry techniques.
• Experience with particle size analysis, XRD analysis, ICP analysis, and titration assays.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and follow laboratory SOPs, internal standards, safety requirements, and quality procedures.
• Master’s degree with research laboratory experience may be applicable.
