Fullstack Software Engineer (React Native)

Location: New York City, United States; in-person work required

Salary: $150,000–$400,000 base salary per year + equity

hirify.global is hiring for an early-stage, seed-stage fintech company building a consumer trading platform focused on perpetual futures.

What you will do

• Develop React Native mobile applications and Python backend services.
• Build and ship new trading features for a consumer perpetual-futures platform.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write tests, debug production and development issues, and strengthen engineering processes.
• Own frontend and backend work and collaborate with product, design, and operations.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and an academic background from a highly selective university with a top-tier computer science program.
• Full-stack web and/or mobile development experience with strong frontend and backend ownership.
• Experience with React or React Native and Python backend development.
• Strong testing, debugging, communication, and technical product ownership skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in person in New York City; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in selective quantitative, fintech, trading, or technology organizations.
• Competitive programming, open-source contributions, technical research, or substantial independent projects.
• Startup or founder experience, or experience building trading, fintech, or cryptocurrency products.
• Exceptional academic performance and evidence of rapid technical learning.
