Residential Energy Product Strategy Intern (Energy)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at least 3 days per week during summer 2027. Must be able to commute to the designated work location.

Salary: $18.20–$19.50 per hour

What you will do

• Support strategy and customer experience work for residential energy programs and rebates.
• Facilitate customer journey mapping sessions across digital and non-digital channels.
• Develop and manage project plans for residential energy program and rebate purchase journeys.
• Own delivery and results for 1–3 projects within the assigned focus area.
• Collaborate with technical teams to analyze energy data and understand supporting systems.
• Assist with RFPs and other regulatory filings as needed.

Requirements

• Current college or university student at junior level or higher.
• Enrolled in an accredited program in business, environmental science, economics, environmental studies, communications, management, business administration, legal and regulatory compliance, or a related field.
• Available to work up to 40 hours per week during summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year.
• Able to commute to the designated location and work in person under the hybrid work policy.
• Available to start on May 24, 2027.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy products and services.
• Project management or data analysis experience.
• Interest in energy programs and utilities.
• Familiarity with project management principles, journey mapping, or user experience fundamentals.
