Quality Control Inspector I – 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite manufacturing facility; US employment eligibility procedures apply through E-Verify.

What you will do

• Inspect component parts, switches, part orders, and completed products using visual inspection and measuring tools.
• Perform final inspections and document production and quality results.
• Generate and support non-conformance reports, report ISO violations, and communicate drawing discrepancies to Engineering.
• Conduct internal process audits and stop non-conforming processes after notifying the Supervisor.
• Support prototype reviews, customer inspections, dimensional analysis, and process control chart implementation.
• Train production personnel and team members in inspection and process-control methods.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP experience is desirable.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, a Fluke multimeter, and small hand and power tools.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ideally, 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, and pushing or pulling materials.
