Operations Analyst Engineering Services (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Houston, Texas; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do

• Lead monthly capital and G&A forecasting for Measurement, Automation, and Technical Services cost centers.
• Prepare variance analyses, consolidated financial reports, and leadership presentations.
• Coordinate annual capital and G&A budget development, including templates, timelines, and consolidations.
• Manage accruals, AFEs, PRNs, coding, documentation, approvals, and procurement workflows.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, Power BI visuals, metric reports, and financial trend analyses.
• Support project documentation, reclasses, coding corrections, audits, and ad hoc operational analysis.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or operations in the energy, utilities, or industrial sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, capital and G&A cycles, accruals, and reclasses.
• Knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, corporate financial controls, AFE creation, and PRN processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or data query tools is useful.
• Successful candidates must pass a drug screen and background check before employment.
