Test Development Engineer

Location: On-site at the hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, at least four days per week. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel. Relocation may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $98,964–$120,957 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead new product development teams in translating customer requirements into robust and relevant physical test methods.
• Design experiments to optimize test methods.
• Coordinate testing and translate test data into insights for product development.
• Build support networks across corporate research, laboratories, manufacturing, and engineering.
• Communicate across organizational levels to drive technical direction.
• Serve as a technical resource within the immediate work group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field and at least one year of physical test method development experience; alternatively, an associate degree in a technical field and five years of relevant experience.
• Experience must be from a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Demonstrated project leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, at least four days per week.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with abrasive products.
• Design of Experiments methodology and statistical analysis experience.
• Experience with LabVIEW.
• Experience with FANUC or KUKA robots.
