Contract - Senior Paralegal

Location: Onsite at the Friedkin Corporate Campus in Houston, Texas; occasional travel to North Houston and/or Sealy, Texas may be required for supply-chain-related projects.

What you will do

• Review, redline, and negotiate commercial contracts covering technology, marketing, events, and hospitality.
• Draft confidential correspondence, pleadings, reports, and other complex legal documents.
• Conduct legal and factual research, investigations, and due diligence, then prepare recommendations.
• Develop and improve claims-management and legal-operations processes.
• Maintain, organize, and review legal files, records, databases, and retention materials.
• Support strategic legal initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of paralegal experience in a legal department.
• Knowledge of applicable state laws and regulations relevant to company operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal research tools, and contract review and management technology, including AI tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, and partner effectively with management and associates.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
