Medical Science Liaison (Biosimilars)

Location: United States of America (Remote); West territory covering California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. The role requires 40–50% travel, including overnight stays, and preference is given to candidates near a major airport, ideally in California or Texas.

Base salary: $150,000–$165,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus with a 14% target.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Prepare and update educational materials and presentations for external scientific exchange.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for off-label product information in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Support publications, clinical trials, and investigator-initiated trial proposals related to company products.
• Train internal personnel and collaborate with global medical, clinical, regulatory, vigilance, quality, and compliance functions.
• Support the safe and effective use of biosimilar products and contribute to product safety and quality processes.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a clinical or scientific discipline, such as a Ph.D., MD, PharmD, Advanced Practice Provider, or advanced-degree Registered Dietician, with relevant clinical, pharmacy, or transferable experience.
• Knowledge of immunology/inflammation and/or oncology.
• Ability to interpret and write scientific documents and communicate complex clinical information clearly.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, clinical trial design, the US healthcare system, reimbursement, and access to pharmaceutical therapies.
• Effective English communication skills are required for regulated workplace communications and documentation.
• Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Nice to have

• At least one year of Medical Science Liaison experience.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience with specialty pharmaceuticals, biological therapies, or biosimilars.
• Experience communicating through virtual platforms and managing shared electronic databases.
