Medical Science Liaison Rhino Gastroenterology Southwest

Location: Remote, non-office based, with required residence in the territory covering Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Southern California. The role involves substantial national and international travel, stakeholder meetings, and operation of a company vehicle.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, payers, patients, and other external stakeholders.
• Exchange approved medical and scientific information on gastroenterology, rhinology, disease management, clinical practice, and relevant healthcare policies.
• Develop territory and individual stakeholder engagement plans for Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Southern California.
• Gather, evaluate, and report stakeholder insights to support medical strategy, product development, scientific messaging, and evidence generation.
• Support clinical, investigator-sponsored, surveillance, pharmacovigilance, effectiveness, and other data-collection activities.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Business Development, Regulatory, and other internal functions while maintaining non-promotional and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Must reside in the assigned territory.
• Advanced degree in a scientific, technical, or medical field preferred, or a relevant life science degree such as RN or MS, with rhinology and/or gastroenterology specialization.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, and readiness to drive a company car safely to meetings and appointments.
• At least two years of pharmaceutical industry, Medical Science Liaison, or relevant clinical practice experience preferred; MSL experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical practice, clinical decision-making, healthcare systems, scientific data interpretation, research study design, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
• Strong communication, presentation, planning, prioritization, diplomacy, leadership, and digital-tool skills.

Nice to have

• Relevant immunology clinical experience in a gastroenterology environment.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary teams and managing a significant volume of projects.
