Reporting Specialist (Heavy Civil Infrastructure)

Salary: $80,000–$145,000 per year ($38–$70 per hour)

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages covering progress, cost, schedule, change, and milestones.
• Lead reporting cycles from data cutoff through review and distribution, tracking inputs and publication deadlines.
• Collect, verify, and reconcile information from project teams, consultants, contractors, PMIS, cost, and schedule systems.
• Review submissions for completeness and contractual reporting compliance, escalating unresolved discrepancies.
• Develop reporting exhibits such as progress charts, dashboards, maps, and photo logs.
• Maintain reporting trackers, distribution lists, repositories, version control, funding documentation, and ad hoc leadership briefings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of program or project reporting experience on large, complex heavy-civil infrastructure projects valued above $500 million.
• Experience producing recurring reporting deliverables on fixed cycles and meeting published distribution dates.
• Experience verifying figures against source records and resolving discrepancies.
• Working knowledge of program controls and construction management reporting, including progress, cost, schedule, and change status.
• Experience with reporting and document-management tools such as Kahua, Unifier, e-Builder, SharePoint, ProjectWise, and Microsoft Office 365.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or certifications such as CCM, PMP, or CAPM.
• Experience leading reporting for programs exceeding $1 billion in construction value.
• Experience with public-sector board, committee, oversight, grant, audit, or funding reporting.
• Experience consolidating reporting across concurrent projects and contracts.
• Experience with Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or other KPI dashboard software.
