Manager, Client Performance & Reporting, L&G - Asset Management, America (Asset Management)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA; onsite role

Salary: USD 120,000–160,000 yearly, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Oversee client reporting, performance measurement, and attribution across credit, index, and LDI investment strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive modernization, automation, process enhancement, scalability, and operational control across reporting services.
• Manage change initiatives and project work in partnership with Technology and other stakeholders.
• Own collaboration with L&G’s London counterparts and align cross-regional standards and delivery.
• Partner with Investment, Client, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Compliance teams to improve reporting quality and system reliability.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience, including 2+ years in people management or team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, investment management, performance measurement methodologies, attribution models, and performance calculations.
• Experience with client reporting in an investment management organization; fixed-income experience is preferred.
• Strong quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Experience with market data and portfolio tools such as Bloomberg and FactSet.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a financial field.
• CFA qualification.
• Experience with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages.
