Human Resources Intern (HVAC)

Location: Shelby, NC, United States; office-based with occasional in-person meetings

Salary: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on position and academic year

International commercial HVAC manufacturer producing equipment for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities worldwide.

What you will do

• Build partnerships with manufacturing teams and leaders.
• Investigate employee-relations issues, research possible responses, make recommendations, and review outcomes with stakeholders.
• Support site culture and engagement through the identification and coordination of events and activities.
• Conduct research and data analysis for HR and business projects.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a related bachelor's degree program and graduate within three semesters or less.
• Complete prior coursework in human resources.
• Have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Work full-time, 40 hours per week, throughout the summer internship term.

Nice to have

• Previous HR internship experience.
• Involvement in student SHRM or a similar organization.
