Civil Engineering Intern

Location: Minnetonka, Minnesota, United States; work includes nearby civil construction sites and office-based project work.

Salary: $21–$24 per hour, based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Support municipal roadway and utility projects in the office and on construction sites.
• Assist with on-site construction observation, surveying, and staking.
• Support project managers and engineers with project development and design tasks.
• Draft project information using AutoCAD and related software.
• Communicate with staff, contractors, and clients.

Requirements

• Be residing in the Minnetonka, Minnesota area and have reliable transportation to the office and nearby construction sites.
• Be actively enrolled in an undergraduate Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related program.
• Be able to travel for team meetings, client consultations, and on-site inspections.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience in construction inspection, monitoring, or supervision of work crews.
• Knowledge of roadway plans and specifications.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
