Student Engineering Intern (Structural)

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA; office-based

What you will do

• Assist with structural design work.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations.
• Research assigned structural engineering topics.
• Assist with field inspections and gain exposure to job sites and client projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals on public- and private-sector work.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering.
• Fundamental knowledge of structural engineering concepts.
• Coursework in steel, wood, concrete, and precast/prestressed concrete design.
• Strong problem-solving, mathematical, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Some proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
