Technical Support Analyst (AWS)

Location: Tysons, Virginia, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison between DLA customers, program offices, system integrators, cloud operations, solutioning, cybersecurity, and customer leadership.
• Coordinate hosting-related incidents, tickets, dependencies, operational handoffs, onboarding, environment changes, and production support activities.
• Track and communicate risks, issues, decisions, commitments, and action items across assigned programs and applications.
• Advise stakeholders on ServiceNow requests, SAAR processes, hosting intake, operating procedures, and scope boundaries.
• Prepare status updates, meeting notes, risk summaries, customer briefings, and other coordination materials.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of repeatable processes across hosting contracts and tenant environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it within 60 days, and current AWS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting technical programs, cloud or infrastructure operations, IT service delivery, customer support, or technical program coordination.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud hosting, shared responsibility models, secure operational processes, cloud modernization, incident management, change management, and access request workflows.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or comparable workflow and collaboration tools.
• Ability to coordinate technical and customer stakeholders, communicate technical topics clearly, track competing priorities, and follow risks, issues, dependencies, and actions through closure.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DoW, DLA, federal civilian, or Public Trust environments.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Associate-level, ITIL Foundation, PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or related certification.
• Experience acting as a liaison between technical delivery teams and customer program stakeholders.
