Geotechnical Engineer - Professional Engineer

What you will do

• Provide engineering advice and recommendations for construction projects.
• Conduct geotechnical studies, field tests, analysis, and design.
• Organize and direct geotechnical site assessments.
• Determine and obtain required compliance permits.
• Coordinate drilling crews and subcontractors, including schedules, invoices, and expenditures.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership and communicate with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
• Current knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Expertise in CAD software and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, time-management, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working in the field is required.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Knowledge of local soil and rock properties.
• Field experience and advanced data collection and recording skills.
