Senior Business Systems Analyst (Data & BI)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required for training or meetings. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Salary: $80,900–$110,300 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Analyze, integrate, and visualize complex datasets using SQL, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Power Platform, and related tools.
• Develop long-term data solutions with IT by consolidating business-generated tables into centralized repositories.
• Elicit, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements, project plans, and timelines.
• Write Agile user stories and coordinate delivery with reporting, analytics, operations, sales, and IT stakeholders.
• Document end-to-end data processes, business rules, source-to-target mappings, process flows, and data-quality controls.
• Perform root-cause analysis, support issue resolution, change management, production releases, and incident monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or systems analysis, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Advanced experience with T-SQL, PL-SQL, TOAD, Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Snowflake, Databricks, and data extraction, manipulation, and visualization.
• Advanced SQL, API integration, data mining, cost-benefit analysis, and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience working with remote teams and supporting production releases or incident monitoring, including occasional nights or weekends.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, computer science, engineering, data science, or business administration.
• Azure Data Fundamentals or Snowflake SNOWPRO certification.
• Advanced experience with Databricks, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Expertise in forecasting, simulation, predictive modeling, Agile processes, and user story writing.
• Experience with healthcare data and integrating disparate datasets.
