Trade Analytics Senior Manager (Biotech)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Remote-eligible with a choice of remote work five days per week and occasional office visits, hybrid work remotely up to two days per week, or on-site work five days per week.

Base salary: $144,000–$216,000 per year, plus potential annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Drive quarterly business reviews by consolidating functional inputs, preparing timely content, and tracking program performance.
• Analyze distribution demand, order activity, cost per order, inventory status, and related performance metrics.
• Conduct data engineering, exploration, visualization, and moderately complex analyses; pressure-test analytics delivered by external vendors.
• Partner with Market Access Strategy, Contract Operations, Field Accounts, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes and customer experience.
• Support market research and new product launches, including product setup documentation, external communications, training materials, and launch coordination.
• Lead the Department Mosaic portal, including maintenance, enhancements, training, dashboards, and data and insights resource management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, quantitative, or related discipline; candidates with a quantitative bachelor’s degree only require an additional three years of relevant experience.
• Typically four years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Superior analytical skills with SQL and SAS, advanced Excel modeling, and proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or comparable visualization tools.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Veeva, ETL processes, databases, data warehouses, and Snowflake.
• Experience with pharmaceutical datasets, including de-identified patient data, 852, 867, chargeback, and 3PL data.
• Strong quantitative analysis, data interpretation, problem-solving, project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Experience managing service providers and vendors, with the ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects independently.
• Ability to build algorithms and models, perform data and error analysis, interpret results, and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Strong ownership, initiative, collaboration, prioritization, and relationship-building skills across field and home-office personnel.

Nice to have

• Experience with VBA, R, SAS, Python, or another programming language.
• Additional data visualization experience, such as Power BI.
