Summer Associate Internship (Consumer Lending Business Intelligence Analyst)

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Virginia, or Pensacola, Florida, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and modernize operational analytics, reporting, dashboards, and data visualization solutions.
• Analyze complex credit card and consumer loan operations data to identify trends, performance drivers, emerging issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Design and support Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Explore AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve analytical processes and generate insights.
• Support data quality, governance, documentation, and standardization initiatives.
• Present analytical findings, visualizations, and recommendations to business partners and leadership.

Requirements

• Must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate data analysis into clear insights, recommendations, and business outcomes.
• Familiarity with data analysis, data visualization, or business intelligence concepts.
• Experience with or exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, Excel, or similar tools.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with large or complex datasets and exploratory data analysis.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, or self-service analytics.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, financial services, consumer lending, or operational analytics.
