Summer Associate Internship (Business Intelligence Analyst)

Location: Hybrid, based at one of three United States locations: Vienna, Virginia; Pensacola, Florida; or Winchester, Virginia. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze business and risk data to identify meaningful trends and evaluate indicators.
• Support the development of dashboards, reports, and visual decision-support solutions.
• Assist with requirements gathering, business process documentation, data quality, and governance improvements.
• Research and benchmark practices to support strategic initiatives and organizational intelligence.
• Create presentations, communicate findings, and present recommendations and project outcomes to leadership.
• Collaborate with analysts, business leaders, and business partners on project work and problem solving.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in data visualization and reporting.
• Comfort working with basic data analysis tools and concepts.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Availability for the 12-week summer program from May 2027 through August 2027.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Databricks, SQL, Tableau, Python, or similar tools.
• Experience with SharePoint Online.
• Familiarity with business process improvement concepts.
