Business Intelligence Reporting/Web Developer (Power BI)

Location: Hybrid in Fort Worth, TX; Jacksonville, FL; New York, NY; or Sacramento, CA

Salary: USD 105,000–135,000 annually in New York and California

What you will do

• Design, test, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports for internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory outputs.
• Build Power BI dashboards with drill-downs, filters, KPI visualizations, DAX, Power Query, dataflows, and row-level security.
• Develop responsive and accessible web applications and internal tools using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions for financial and trust accounting datasets.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, operations, DBAs, and development teams through requirements gathering, UAT, code reviews, and deployment.
• Document report logic, data sources, API contracts, and field definitions while supporting end users with training and analysis.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of production SSRS report development experience.
• At least 2 years of Power BI development experience.
• At least 3 years of SQL Server development experience with strong T-SQL proficiency.
• At least 2 years of web application development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern front-end framework such as Vue, React, or Angular.
• Experience with Git workflows, data modeling, REST API integration, and SQL Server tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, trust accounting, wealth management, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with trust accounting or financial portfolio management platforms.
• Familiarity with ETL, data conversion, Rocket Universe, UniData, UniVerse, server-side web technologies, TDD, or automated testing.
