Staff SQA Engineer

Company

Develops ServAssure UI, a web-based network monitoring platform for enterprise and cloud-hosted environments.

What you will do

• Lead the UI test strategy for ServAssure UI.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test suites with Selenium WebDriver and BrowserStack.
• Define test plans, regression strategies, test cases, and release-readiness criteria.
• Execute manual tests and debug failures across UI, API, and environment layers.
• Prepare release quality reports and communicate test status, risks, and readiness to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate with developers in a distributed Agile team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites for complex web-based UI applications and large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and BrowserStack.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and familiarity with Angular or other modern single-page applications.
• Experience with REST APIs, API or integration testing, test management tools such as Zephyr and Jira, and quality reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, Jenkins, Java, Linux, or BDD tools such as Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Experience in performance, load, security, accessibility, visual regression, or data-driven testing.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve QA workflows with strong verification practices.
• Exposure to telecom or cable network management applications.
