Senior Software Engineer, ZoneBilling (NetSuite)

Location: Uruguay; fully remote role

What you will do

• Build, enhance, and scale the ZoneBilling application and NetSuite SuiteApps.
• Develop clean, maintainable, well-tested code using SuiteScript, JavaScript, SQL, and the proprietary TypeScript-based SDK.
• Design and execute tests, maintain unit-test coverage, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs.
• Collaborate with the principal architect, engineers, product managers, and QA on feature definition and refinement.
• Participate in code reviews, document systems and architecture, and share development practices across teams.
• Identify improvements to development tools, processes, and engineering workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript and/or SuiteScript skills, with experience in React, SQL, and REST and SOAP APIs.
• Demonstrable experience with NetSuite SuiteCloud development.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines in remote, distributed teams.
• Billing, revenue, Fintech, ERP, HRIS, payroll, finance, or CRM domain experience is required or highly desirable; TypeScript, Node.js, or Java experience is beneficial.
