Collections Representative (Fintech)

Location: Work from home, but must live within 60 minutes or 60 miles of Canton, Ohio ZIP code 44718 for onsite training and occasional in-person activities. Evening hours and at least one weekend day are required.

Salary: $22.50 per hour base pay.

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with cardholders.
• Bring past-due accounts up to date and establish payment arrangements.
• Counsel cardholders about their financial situations and determine appropriate solutions.
• Deliver exceptional service and build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Manage customer information accurately across multiple systems.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 6 months of customer service experience or equivalent military experience within the last 7 years.
• Live within 60 minutes or 60 miles of ZIP code 44718 to attend in-person training and occasional activities.
• Have intermediate computer skills, including multitasking across software platforms, typing while speaking with customers, using Microsoft Office, and searching for information.
• Maintain a quiet, distraction-free workspace with reliable high-speed internet during scheduled work hours.
• Be authorized to work in the United States and satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. Drug testing, background investigation, and fingerprinting are required.

Nice to have

• At least 6 months of collections, banking or financial industry, virtual environment, or call center experience.
• Strong customer engagement, objection handling, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
