Loan Support Consultant - Specialty (Asset Backed Finance - Commercial)

Location: Brecksville, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; East Brunswick, NJ; Denver, CO; Cincinnati, OH; or Kalamazoo, MI. Remote work may be available in select U.S. geographic locations with approval, and occasional in-office participation may be required. Working hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm EST, Monday–Friday.

Base salary: $52,500–$105,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Administer high-complexity syndicated and commercial loan transactions with limited oversight.
• Process incoming payments, advances, loan conversions, rate rollovers, disbursements, and general loan maintenance.
• Conduct advance due diligence, review notices and documentation, and determine whether funds can be released.
• Follow up with agent banks, balance general ledgers, monitor exceptions, and manage a portfolio of clients.
• Consult with customers, relationship managers, deal teams, investors, and internal and external business partners.
• Provide specialty product training and serve as a subject-matter resource for team members.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor’s degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience in loan servicing, loan administration, commercial loans, operations, and application of payments.
• Exposure to ACBS, wire transfer experience, account reconciliation experience, and familiarity with Excel spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of loan documentation, due diligence, regulatory compliance, financial analysis, and risk mitigation.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, decision-making, communication, consulting, and relationship-management skills.
