Laboratory Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite laboratory role

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Perform testing on medical devices using analytical laboratory equipment.
• Analyze and interpret test results against specification limits.
• Document findings, observations, deviations, errors, failures, and out-of-specification results.
• Support the implementation of new testing methods and protocols.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, consumable stock, and applicable good practices.
• Participate in follow-up actions for laboratory deviations and failures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and independent working skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and FDA regulations.
