Transportation Planning Manager

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. Occasional travel throughout Texas is required for client meetings. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.

What you will do

• Lead the development and coordination of transportation plans for state and local governments.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, and design teams on complete streets, cycle tracks, multimodal conversions, and related projects.
• Create public involvement plans and lead community outreach and participation activities.
• Develop corridor assessments, transportation and land-use analyses, policy recommendations, and investment priorities.
• Identify client opportunities, prepare RFQ responses, and support transportation planning business development.
• Secure federal and state project development funds and help clients improve eligibility for grants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant transportation planning experience, with ACIP certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Experience analyzing transportation data with ESRI and Tableau.
• Knowledge of AASHTO, PROWAG, ADA, TxDOT, and MUTCD guidelines and standards.
• Strong project management, communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for occasional travel throughout Texas.
