Mechanical Engineer Intern (Year-Round)

What you will do

• Organize and maintain electrical and mechanical drawings in the document management system.
• Verify that engineering prints accurately reflect current parts and manufacturing processes.
• Assist with designing and developing new parts and components.
• Partner with operators to analyze manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a four-year Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related degree program.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel and analyst skills.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
