IT Application Development Intern (Inforce) (Angular/Java)

Location: Addison, Texas, or Montpelier, Vermont; onsite four days per week from Monday through Thursday

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, test, and support web applications, APIs, integrations, and internal and external user solutions.
• Build applications using Angular, Java, REST APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the full application lifecycle from requirements and design through deployment and support.
• Use GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, and JFrog for code management, testing, quality checks, and automated deployments.
• Analyze digital customer experiences and create metrics, reporting, visualizations, analysis, and recommendations.
• Use approved AI tools for coding, research, troubleshooting, documentation, prompt engineering, and result validation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Basic understanding of software development, web applications, APIs, or programming.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and learning skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in an enterprise technology environment.
• Must be able to work onsite four days per week in Addison, Texas, or Montpelier, Vermont.
• Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Angular, Java, GitHub, DevOps tools, or cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted coding and troubleshooting.
• Previous coursework, personal projects, internships, or hands-on technical experience.
