2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Digital & Technology - Application Development

Location: Bethlehem, PA; New York, NY; or Holmdel, NJ. U.S. work authorization is required without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $20.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications in a Frontend, Backend/API, or Mobile domain.
• Apply cloud and, where required, GenAI technologies to application development.
• Follow coding, testing, and documentation standards.
• Develop proofs of concept using modern technology stacks.
• Learn from leaders, mentors, and team members while building professional connections across the organization.
• Analyze data, facts, and other information and ask informed questions.

Requirements

• Current sophomore or junior pursuing graduation between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, application architecture patterns, RESTful APIs, and browser, service, and database interactions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be available for the full internship period from May 27 through August 6, 2027.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Basic understanding of GenAI technologies such as Copilot and knowledge of LLMs.
