Clinical Admissions Therapist (Massachusetts)

Location: Remote, United States. Work authorization in the United States is required. Availability is needed for either 11am–7pm MT or 12pm–8pm MT; weekend coverage is encouraged.

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year, with the final amount based on location and experience.

What you will do

• Meet clients upon admission, build rapport, present program information, and establish treatment needs.
• Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for children, teens, young adults, and adults.
• Determine suitability for the virtual intensive outpatient program level of care and construct provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM-5 criteria.
• Document client information in the electronic medical record in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Assign treatment team members and group schedules and communicate new admissions to staff.
• Coordinate intake with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, clinical teams, and external behavioral health referral sources.

Requirements

• Independent licensure in a mental health field is required; associate-level clinicians working toward full licensure may also be considered.
• Experience with behavioral health assessments and admissions is preferred.
• Experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults is preferred.
• Native or bilingual English proficiency and authorization to work in the United States are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable technology is required for uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services.
