Shipping/Receiving Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Visalia, CA, USA; on-site logistics and material-handling work.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate shipping, receiving, and inventory work.
• Lead, coach, train, and manage performance and personnel issues for the logistics team.
• Develop inventory control procedures, oversee cycle counts, analyze variances, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, carrier pickups, claims, packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Process ERP transactions, issue materials to job orders and production, and support spare-parts shipments.
• Coordinate with Operations, Production, Aftermarket, vendors, carriers, and customers to meet delivery schedules.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, or logistics; manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory or lead experience and strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Syteline, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, prioritization, and accuracy skills.
• Forklift certification or willingness to complete training, plus knowledge of safe work practices.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift or move up to 50 lbs, and operate material-handling equipment.
