Maintenance Technician (30022)

What you will do

• Complete work orders within designated time frames and turn over apartments within five days of move-out.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, heating, locking, door, and building alarm systems.
• Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces, and perform manual repairs such as replacing windows and locks.
• Maintain documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarms, materials procurement, and completed work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and participate in technical, safety, and operational training.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes, tools, appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.

Nice to have

• Additional relevant certifications, such as HVAC or CMRP.
