Senior Financial Analyst

Location: US - National; remote. Up to 5% travel.

What you will do

• Own weekly reporting and month-end analysis, explaining business performance accurately and clearly.
• Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting through data preparation, analysis, commentary, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, utilization, headcount, pipeline, and profitability against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare finance commentary, reporting packs, presentation decks, communications, and ad hoc reports for senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, and automate reporting processes, including practical use of AI and reporting tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, commercial finance, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, reconciliations, data checks, structured reporting files, and large datasets.
• Understanding of accounting principles, revenue, cost, margin, utilization, headcount, and forecast reporting.
• Experience with integrated financial, operational, or reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data-accuracy skills, with the ability to explain financial information to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday, Salesforce/SFDC, NetSuite, or similar systems.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, or similar reporting tools.
• Curiosity and willingness to use AI to support analysis and process improvement.
