Location: Hybrid, requiring in-office work four days per week in Buffalo, NY; New York, NY; Bridgeport, CT; Paramus, NJ; Boston, MA; or Wilmington, DE

What you will do

• Develop complex operational risk analyses, analytical reports, risk opinions, and materials for senior management and governance forums.
• Provide independent oversight and challenge of risk identification, assessment, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting.
• Perform gap, control, and root cause assessments and evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of remediation plans.
• Support first-line implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework and monitor alignment with policies and supervisory expectations.
• Collaborate with technology risk, compliance, model risk, and other risk partners to improve risk processes and control practices.
• Support change initiatives, audit and regulatory remediation, and monitoring of emerging risks and industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in risk, compliance, legal, audit, or a related function, or nine years of combined higher education and work experience including five relevant years.
• Working knowledge of operational risk management regulations, policies, and industry standards.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with all levels of management.
• Ability to work in the office four days per week from one of the listed U.S. locations.
