Credit Risk Review Examiner - Commercial (Fintech)

Location: Fully onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentive compensation

What you will do

• Perform independent risk analyses and reviews of complex commercial and non-Homogeneous loans.
• Examine loan documentation and collateral, identify exceptions and omissions, and document review findings.
• Assign and review credit-quality risk ratings based on borrower repayment ability and credit risk.
• Plan and conduct loan portfolio reviews, coordinate workflow, and communicate issues to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Monitor reporting, regulatory compliance, credit policies, and changes in applicable banking regulations.
• Coach, mentor, or train colleagues and serve as a subject matter expert when assigned.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Credit Review or equivalent examiner experience with a federal regulatory agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or an equivalent field preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Credit Review practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Experience conducting medium- to high-risk reviews across a wide variety of industries.
• Strong financial analysis, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; occasional travel may be required.
