Senior Data Analyst (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work with three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Act as the senior analytical thought partner for Customer Success, Commercial, and Partnerships/HSO leadership.
• Own complex, cross-functional analyses covering client retention, surgery intent, program expansion, commercial performance, client health, and performance guarantees.
• Maintain the CS KPI and Bowler reporting suite and lead multi-quarter initiatives such as Analytics OS, the client hub, and the retention model.
• Own the Commercial Analytics AI and self-service strategy, scaling CSM AnswerBot, Data Discovery Agent, AFTR, and Matik-powered reporting automation.
• Own and evolve the commercial dbt data layer and mesh architecture, including program-specific modeling and user-level pain reporting.
• Mentor analysts, lead design reviews, document analytical practices, and communicate complex data and methodology to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst owning complex, cross-functional analytical work in a commercial or product environment.
• Technical depth in SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Experience delivering strategic analysis to VP-level and senior stakeholders, framing ambiguous problems, and developing methodology under uncertainty.
• Deep healthcare industry knowledge across clinical, payer, provider, or digital health environments.
• Experience scaling AI capabilities, building self-service analytics platforms, mentoring analysts, and working with high autonomy.

Nice to have

• Experience with unified analytics platforms that consolidate multiple tools under a shared architecture.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code or Cursor and agentic workflows.
