What you will do

• Own healthcare analyses end to end, from scoping ambiguous questions and defining patient or provider cohorts to writing SQL, performing QA, and delivering actionable answers.
• Partner with sales, client strategy, and ad operations as the data subject matter expert.
• Build reusable codesets, cohort and metric definitions, notebook templates, and documentation for reproducible analytics.
• Design patient and healthcare provider audience segments using real-world data and provide definitions, counts, and caveats.
• Deliver market landscape, competitive dynamics, payer access, patient journey, audience, and campaign performance analyses to internal and client stakeholders.
• Apply AI and generative AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting, while identifying new methodologies, data sources, and analytical opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analytics experience and a record of independently owning projects from question to delivered answer.
• Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy claims, diagnosis and procedure coding, NDC and treatment data, and the healthcare industry.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with large datasets and cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Ability to turn loosely specified requests into defensible analyses and explain what the data can and cannot support.
• Experience with data visualization, analytical storytelling, communication with nontechnical and senior audiences, and mentoring or reviewing analytical work.
• Familiarity with Python, notebooks, Git, healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing, and reproducible analysis practices.
