Senior Manager, New Verticals - Search S&O (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL; or Tempe, AZ. The team meets in person a few days per quarter, with offices available for more frequent attendance.

Salary: $170,000–$250,000 USD base salary, plus potential equity grants.

hirify.global operates a delivery and commerce platform and is expanding its New Verticals business across grocery, convenience, alcohol, retail, and DashMart.

What you will do

• Lead the Search team across hirify.global New Verticals.
• Define and execute strategies that help customers find products quickly and confidently.
• Launch operational experiments and turn measurable results into implementation plans.
• Analyze consumer behavior, search relevance, conversion, and operational and financial impact.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design to improve the shopping experience.
• Manage a small team and scale new business initiatives from strategy through detailed execution.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in technology, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical skills, including SQL and Excel modeling.
• Ability to work with technical concepts such as machine learning models and engineering architecture.
• Ability to identify consumer needs, solve ambiguous problems from first principles, and operate at both strategic and detailed levels.
• Completed BS or BA degree; a business or engineering concentration is preferred.
