Head of Product Engineering (AI)

Location: In-person at the San Francisco office

Company

hirify.global is an early-stage AI company building an agentic document platform for enterprise document intelligence and workflow automation.

What you will do

• Set the product and engineering direction for products built on hirify.global’s document intelligence models.
• Work directly with founders, product, and customers to shape product strategy and conduct customer discovery.
• Design and ship intuitive UIs for complex document workflows.
• Prototype and deliver features including form filling, translation, document editing, and document classification.
• Define how AI is used in the product development process and work with Platform and ML teams on model deployments.
• Recruit and lead product engineers while remaining hands-on with production code and difficult technical problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading teams that built high-impact applications.
• Experience leading business-critical products from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 100, preferably with small, nimble teams.
• Ability to debug, experiment, iterate quickly, and work across the full development lifecycle.
• Direct experience with customers, including customer discovery or research.
• Strong product intuition, high quality standards, and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to work in person at the San Francisco office.

• Prior experience with document workflows.
• Experience building LLM-powered products in production, including evaluation tooling.
• Experience in a tech-lead-manager or player-coach role at a rapidly growing company.
